Overview

The position entails management & oversight of several facilities maintenance projects at once, serving multiple customers & multiple sites in all 50 states. The Project Manager is responsible for assisting clients (property owners & property managers) with facilities operations & general construction, including keeping the facilities(s) in operation, small project management, vendor/subcontractor procurement & scheduling and invoice management (both vendors & customers). Must work in a fast-paced environment and be self-motivated.

  • Address facilities issues in a timely, cost effective manner in commercial buildings throughout the US
  • Accurately address issues and solutions to vendors and clients
  • Ability to manage numerous projects and prioritize resources
  • Maintain scheduling for work orders and site visits
  • Maintain work order material, parts, subcontractor & labor expenses
  • Oversee and guide outside contractors performing facilities activities
  • 24 hour emergency call, 1 week per month
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures and adhere to company standards
  • Perform other duties as required

Job Requirements

  • 2-3 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • General (working) knowledge of all areas of construction
  • Experience managing multiple facilities/projects/customers
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • History of effective interaction with clients and vendors
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a high volume environment
  • Facility work order experience a plus
  • Excellent math skills – previous billing/invoicing experience is a plus
  • Ability to effectively respond to multiple and complex inquiries from service providers and clients
  • Commitment to customer service and problem solving skills
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel & Facilities Management Databases
  • Previous experience using database software is a plus
  • Must be self-motivated and dependable
