Many of our offices have embarked on a number of exciting projects over the past two months. Here’s a quick rundown of what our various teams are getting up to in the locations that we operate in:
MDS Texas:
The facilities management team at our Texas office was awarded a “Back of House” flooring project from one of our national retail clients. The Hotel Eleven project in Austin was successfully completed and we are proud to announce that the Grand Opening took place on the 11th of May. We have also completed the first of six locations for an innovative Dollar Tree “ReBanner” program.
MDS Boca Raton and Ohio:
The Boca Raton and Ohio teams attended the Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) sponsored corporate event in Las Vegas on the 23rd of May. We are also pleased to announce that the construction on the Audi dealership in North Miami is progressing well. We are currently working with a number of designers and contractors to finalize the design build portion of the pre-cast structure. We are on track to achieving the first major milestone on the Audi dealership project, namely erecting 310,000sf of structure on the site.
An exciting upcoming project is a Signature store location for an international client. We have also been awarded a Bealls Outlet store renovation project in North Palm Beach which is set to kick off in July. Our local team are also currently construction two Bealls Outlet Stores in Tequesta and Delray Beach respectively. On the 10th of May, we also handed over the Bealls outlet store
The Boca Raton and Ohio team has also been awarded a VisionWorks retail project in Somerset, Kentucky, which will kick off in mid-June. We are also currently doing the construction management on a condominium complex renovation project estimated at $10-million. The project includes 27 buildings spread across a 42 acre site.
Last but not least, we have completed the shell construction scope of work on an 18,000 square foot “Out of the Closet” thrift store/pharmacy project.
